Dear John,

The entire Bottomley and Carr family wants to thank you very much for the wonderful photographs you took at the wedding of Ian and Michele. We are all incredibly pleased with them - with so many great shots it was difficult for Michele and Ian to make a choice of which ones to put on the CD! We want to say how easy it was to work with you and how pleasant you made it for us given the short notice of a few weeks! You were always professional, polite, helpful and friendly. Being from Niagara and making the arrangements long distance caused us a worry or two thinking of all that could go wrong - but our worry was for nothing. You not only contacted us and answered all of our questions but you were also most helpful and made everything not only easy but effortless. Choosing you to take the wedding photos of our son and his bride made this special event one that was beautifully memorialized. We appreciate that you found a site for outdoor photographs for later daytime shots after the service, which are magnificent with Mount Rundle as a backdrop. Michele and Ian are so pleased with your shots, as her parents and we are.

Fanny and I would like to thank you for the wonderful photo session while we were in Banff!! To be honest, I was a little skeptical before going to Banff for the photo session. We had no idea what it would be like to have our wedding photos taken in Banff and by a person whom I never met before. You have no idea how relieved I was when I saw every little thing was being arranged the day the photo session took place. Fanny was very happy with the make up artist you arranged for us. We sometime look at the pictures you took for us and realize how fortunate we were to have you as our photographer.

Here is a testimony from us for your potential clients. Fanny and I live in Japan and we desired to have our wedding photos taken in Banff, however, we did not know anyone in Banff and we only had two days in Banff, we searched up and down in the internet for a photographer in Banff and we found John. We email John and ask him if he could arrange everything for us in Banff.John not only arrange everything on our behalf, he took us to many beautiful spots in Lake Louise area just to take that perfect photo. Knowing that we have to leave Banff the next day, John had all our photos written to CD and print outs done the very next day after the session so we could bring them back home to Japan. I do not think you can find a better photographer in Banff who will go out of his way to make his clients happy.

We had a tiny wedding but, nonetheless, we wanted to capture our day with special photographs. John Stewart, and Adventures In Photography Ltd. was a great choice—he had exactly the package we wanted and was easy to work with from day one. Going with My Banff Photographer was one of the simplest and most economical parts of planning our wedding. John was really helpful and knowledgeable about the Banff area. He took great shots. The pictures were ready within a couple of days and we have access to them at anytime with the great online gallery. I used John to take glamour shots/portraits to be used for promotion and he was extremely thorough and professional from start to finish. He coached me through poses and helped me understand my selling features and how to make the most of them. He took care of every detail and I left with not only numerous great photographs but also a better understanding of photography and how to put my best face forward. I would recommend him for any type of photography, from an intimate, personal 1 on 1 session to having him photograph a large event or party. Sarah L As time moves on, and the crows begin to land, a good photographer, lens and lighting becomes oh so important. John Stewart, a local Banff / Canmore Photographer, was able to work magic with his camera… I was presented with an archival CD of a portfolio of photographs of my choice, and I am happy to note that many of the crows had mysteriously left the landscape! The photo session lasted 2 hours, 500 photographs were taken, and I now have 175 of the very best. It was well worth the time and expense! John is easy to work with, and brings a combination of many years of photographic experience and working with inexperienced clients to the sitting.

We were happy to use John Stewart as our wedding photographer in Banff on April 15, 2006. Prior to our wedding, John made us feel comfortable because he was always available to answer any of our questions and responded in a prompt and professional manner. He was also flexible, courteous, and focused on making us happy. John captured special moments throughout our day and we were most impressed with his ability to combine our romantic moments with the backdrop of the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

John is also reasonably priced compared to most wedding photographers in the region.

Hi, my name is Lisa and I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I have been corresponding with John recently because he will be shooting my friend's wedding in Banff this weekend. He mentioned that you were wanting to hear from another bride as to what her experience was with John as a wedding photographer. Well I guess I'm that bride. I was married in Banff in 2003 and John was the photographer for our wedding. I can't remember exactly how we found him, it was either on the internet or thru the Banff /Canmore yellow pages. Anyway, we had spoken with several Banff area photographers and many, including John, were qualified enough, but we saw a genuine enthusiasm in John. We also liked the package choices that he offered and felt that they were priced at a good value for our money in comparison to many of the other photographers. We had John take pictures during the ceremony, directly after the ceremony on location, and then he took us to several beautiful locations which made for amazing back drops in our photos. In fact, most people who see our wedding photos for the first time think that the backgrounds in some of them are super imposed because they are just so beautiful that it is almost surreal looking. John's pictures where fabulous, his prices are fair and he is a really good guy to work with. He was not at all pushy or impatient. We found him to be talented, friendly, cooperative, and his assistance really helped make our wedding a success. We have an absolutely beautiful visual journal to look back on which is a photographic record of some of the most intimate and happy moments of our wedding day. I wholeheartedly recommend that you seriously consider John as the photographer for your wedding! Oh, and the bride who is to be wed this weekend? She was a bridesmaid in my wedding party two years ago and was thoroughly impressed with John. Now she is getting married in Banff as well and insisted that John, and only John, be her wedding photographer.
