Spring Catch
Walking with the wolves was wondrous, and even better to have a camera in my hand to capture moments like this one. This Grey wolf Tuk is in a full motion collision course with a beautiful morsel of steak. A wolves jaw muscle is three times bigger then a humans and packs a much harder bite. Tuk's keeper has a handy stash of these great treats for the wolves rite by his side in a blue jar. Tuk is still very much a wild wolf, timid, and wary with every approach towards the group. Some times, not even in sight unless the keeper called for him. It was just great moment at the Northern Lights Wolf Center in Golden, British Columbia, at the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
