Emerald Lake of Yoho National Park is just moments from Banff National Park. The weather at the lake is not always moody as in this photo but one promise is for sure that every visit to the lake will provide photography results to keep with abundant subject matter. The old saying goes in the Canadian Rockies if you don't like the weather  just wait 15 minutes and this holds solid as one of my first weddings was at Emerald Lake and only 30 minutes before the event there was a down pour. Just like any gem the event did proceed as planned and the wedding photography left the bride in tears of joy over Emerald like results!
