Just west of Banff National Park is Lake O'hara in Yoho National Park. In the vicinity of the lake there is a numerous amount of lakes that will make a photography session more than enjoyable. I make a point to get into O'hara at least twice a year on day trips. This area is so spectacular that you have to almost book a year in advance to spend longer durations. In the winter at the Elizabeth Parker Hut of the Alpine Club of Canada it is possible to book a midweek stay with as little as a weeks notice! This Desktop photograph was taken just west of the hut in the late afternoon.
