Cascade Mountain is visible from Banff and Canmore and dominates the horizon. This photo was taken on the summer solstice a few years ago. The photography session lasted for well over one hour. I arrived on the pre scouted location about 5:30 am and photographed until 7:30 am. This photograph was shot with film and I am  already planning to return to this location to shoot with digital for  clearner and sharper results.
