There is a little secret about this Banff Wedding I would like to share with you. Rachael booked my services about a year before her day. I assured her right from the start she had nothing to worry about on her sweetest occasion in Banff as it was on my Birthday. It would be the greatest gift a photographer could ask for on his birthday is to be contracted for what his active life yearns to do everyday. I then told her I would cover your Wedding on my Birthday only that she would not let on once she knew it was my special day as well. I am a low key kind of individual this way. On a high end wedding such as hers I can do my job stay focused on my task and that is to collect the best memories the family special event holds.
When I am away from the crowds of the wedding days I find my peace and solitude polishing these lovely 5 foot digital images by the thousands. On a package like Rachael and Jared's a full day's coverage can mean at least a week of editing and retouching. With my new editing platform and the constantly raising of the bar on what to deliver on the first release of a clients files. I find Iam constantly educating myself on improving the over all speed of the release however more importantly to insure the quality has never diminished and only gained in quality since my last client expectations fulfilled.
Our conclusion. After 15 years of being a Wedding Photographer in the Canadian Rockies, and with our professional digital experience since 2003. We make a concrete observation any Pro Photographer should only release his final finished images when he feels the images reflect the client's day in the most polished way with all the resources he has to show the client how much his heart is embraced by the special moment he was kindly invited to capture.

In 2010 after 7 years of removing the burning embers of debt caused by the fires in the lost revenue that nearly left my young corporation bankrupt. I was very lucky to be invited to cover Amanda and Jeff's candle light wedding at the Bear and Bison in Canmore. With a short 30 - 40 minute formals photo session at the Vermillion Lakes in Banff produced some very fun and romantic images for the couple..
Our new Online .zip "File Service" is now the easiest way for us to share our images with our clients. With our new 2010 /2011 protocols we produce a online zip file normally in 4 to 6 weeks of your Wedding unless special work has to be preformed. Normally we put a full edit on all our first releases of our client's private online .zip file. Our clients normally receive about 60 to 100 images on the first release. With our packages it is very easy for us to produce 60 to 120 quality exposures per hour.
Our creative edits are normally applied to exceptional images with great lighting and artistic flare. I was a water colourist when I was younger and today I work to put my painterly ways into my wedding images. Clients can always enjoy special edits on their images to promote the happy and romantic overtones of the day.
I like to keep things light and non obtrusive in the coverage of every photo session. I have been known to get soaked from rolling around in the snow to make certain angles work. This was the first Wedding I have cover at this unique location. Some of my most amazing outdoor venues are only available in the heart of winter because they are frozen lake shores!
